Mise-en-scene
Meaning everyting in the scene, refers to all visual aspects of the scene. The process of setting a stage, with regard to placement of actors, scenery, properties and using them to direct the scene.

Connatation
An idea or meaning suggested by or associated with a word or thing for example: the thriller film genre holds connations of suspense and murder.

Denotation
Somethings literal meaning without association to something else for example a tree is a tree.
